North Tahoe Regional Park
The North Tahoe Regional Park (download the map here) is located one mile west of Highway 267 and one mile north of Highway 28 in Tahoe Vista. The Regional Park encompasses approximately 124 acres of predominantly active recreational activities. Surrounding the Regional Park on three sides are accessible public lands offering users a more passive recreational experience. Read more >
Beaches
The Parks Department maintains and manages local beaches within District boundaries that are owned by the District as well as by other state or local agencies. Tahoe Vista Recreation Area is owned by the District. Public beaches owned by other agencies but maintained by the District include Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Sandy Beach, Secline Beach, Moon Dunes Beach, North Tahoe Beach, Coon Street Boat Launch and Speedboat Beach. Boat Launches
The Parks Department maintains and operates the Coon Street Boat Launch and the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area Boat Launch. Read more >
Bike Trail
The Pinedrop Trail is a 1.5 mile paved trail that connects Pinedrop Drive (off of Highway 267) to the North Tahoe Regional Park. This trail is an opportunity for Kings Beach residents to access the Regional Park on bikes or on foot. Read more >
North Tahoe Event Center
The North Tahoe Event Center is owned and operated by the North Tahoe Public Utility District. This lakefront facility in the heart of Kings Beach offers wedding, meeting, conference, and event space for up to 400 guests. In addition, the Event Center also hosts many local events and fundraisers. Read more >
